Legend has it that Santa traverses the world on Christmas Eve distributing gifts to a myriad of recipients, asking only for a bite of a cookie, a sip of milk, and mostly good behavior.
Unfortunately, in the City of Kenner there are some families that don’t share in these good tidings due to circumstances.
In an effort to remedy this situation, TKN’s ”656 Foundation” a 501c3, is committed to provide Christmas presents and financial support to select families in need during this time of giving.
Santa in the Sand

Each December, Olympians Taryn Brasher and Kristen Nuss (TKN), along with a group of volleyball elves, produce ”Santa in the Sand”, a beach volleyball extravaganza with games, live and silent auctions, music and entertainment, food/beverage, to raise resources and ensure those without have an opportunity to share in the holiday spirit. In collaboration with the City of Kenner 10 families will be selected as recipients of Santa in the Sand’s 2025 gifting.
The City of Kenner is pleased to host TKN’s Santa in the Sand in their support of families in Kenner during the Holiday Season.

Enjoy music and entertainment throughout the day, and take part in the silent auction for a chance to win amazing items—all while supporting a wonderful cause. Whether you're playing or cheering from the sidelines, this is a holiday event you won’t want to miss!
